Dr. Scott Toth, CISSP, CCSP is a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina and has over 13 years of information security experience in infrastructure, operations, architecture, governance and management. Scott is the Information Security Officer and head of security and privacy for Volvo Financial Services, the captive finance arm of the Volvo Group, Swedish manufacturer of heavy trucks, buses, and construction equipment.

With a presence in 48 markets globally, Volvo Financial Services has diverse and varied regulatory requirements that inform its approach to both security and privacy. Scott is an expert in compliance with various security regulations, the GDPR (Europe), LGPD (Brazil), and CCPA (California), and manages an international team of security and privacy professionals.

Scott is a member and past president of ISSA Triad of North Carolina chapter and is also a member of ISC2, ISACA, and Infragard. Scott serves as the Technical and IT Director at Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro, is president of the Greensboro Amateur Radio Association, and enjoys camping with his wife of 19 years and three sons.
