Jake Niederer is a Managing Consultant for the Threat Intelligence Team at VerSprite. He is a decorated former Marine, awarded with the Navy Achievement Medal, a Combat Distinguishing Device V for Valor, and the Purple Heart for his actions in OEF Afghanistan. Aside from the military, his security background is in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Threat Vulnerability Management, SIEMS, Linux, and FreeBSD environments.

Jake is passionate about educating fellow security professionals, fitness, and intelligence with a focus on areas of our life can affect other aspects, such as how information security can affect our lifestyle.
